"Who is this guy?" You may be asking. Well, I am you. A 30 something Dallas Professional always on the search for a great glass of wine and impeccable food to pair with it.

 

It seems that Dallas has a whole slew of instapalate influencers who don't know the difference between a bearnaise and a mayonnaise. What "al dente" actually means, nor that you are supposed to eat a steak more on the rare side. This website and my reviews are designed to give you a more honest recommendation on where you should spend your hard earned money, so you aren't out $500 and think to yourself, "that wasn't worth it."

 

I was in the service industry throughout my undergrad. Working at some of the most interesting and delicious restaurants in Dallas, I picked up a thing or two. Couple that with my WSET level 2 cert (going for my level 3 later this year,) I believe I have done the leg work as both partisipant and patron of the Dallas dining scene and will try to give a nuanced approach to help you decide where you would go patron.

 

I also love to cook, so this website will also produce recipes that are tried and tested, along with occasional musings on the wine scene here. I may be a wine guy - but I'm not a wine asshole, so don't expect me to recite random, obscure, gatekeeping-esq wine BS knowing full well you just care about what tastes good.
